How it Works
1. The user connects to the Access Essentials server by going to
a company specific Web address. All users need is a computer
or workstation that can run a standard Web browser.
2. Then Citrix ICA® client software is downloaded (if not already
installed). It supports Windows, Windows Mobile, Mac OS, Linux
and various other operating systems.
3. After the initial login, the user can then launch any application
they like. Administrators can selectively control who has access
to which applications, based on their role and responsibilities. The
software relays the remote user’s keystrokes and mouse clicks
in real time over the network to the server which in return sends
screen updates and audio outputs directly to the user.
